SH 130
Congestion on I-35 and the surrounding area created the need to improve mobility and relieve congestion in and around the Austin-San Antonio corridor. A contract valued at more than $1 billion, this undertaking includes building a 49-mile tollway, seven interchanges and 177 structures. Due to the significant size of this project, a joint-venture was established between three major contractors, Fluor Enterprises, T.J. Lambrecht Co., and Balfour Beatty Infrastructure, Inc.

In addition, SH 130 is the first highway in the state of Texas that is being developed and constructed under a Comprehensive Development Agreement, which allows for accelerated completion of the project. This type of agreement provides a time and cost savings to the state.

SH 130 will be a four-lane divided highway extending from I-35 north of Georgetown southward to US 183 southeast of Austin, passing through Williamson and Travis Counties.
