Balfour Beatty Infrastructure will also construct a flow meter splitter structure, two electrical substations, more than 3,700 linear feet of steel pipeline, 20 miles of fiber-optic cable, and associated roadways and landscaping.
The Folsom South Canal Connection Project will supply water from the Sacramento River to customers in Sacramento County and the East Bay, San Francisco area. The water for these pumping plants will flow from Balfour Beatty’s Freeport water intake facility job on the Sacramento River and continue east through Sacramento County. The project is estimated to be completed by May 2010.
