The Folsom South Canal Connection project is in the Sacramento and San Joaquin
Counties of Northern California. The $93 million project included
construction of two plants that pump 100 million gallons per day.
Balfour
Beatty Infrastructure also constructed a flow meter splitter
structure, two electrical substations, more than 3,700 linear feet of
steel pipeline, 20 miles of fiber-optic cable, and associated roadways
and landscaping.
The Folsom South Canal Connection Project was built to supply water from the Sacramento River to customers in East Bay. The
water for these
pumping plants flow from Balfour Beatty's Freeport water intake
facility job on the Sacramento River and continue east through
Sacramento County.
